FAQs

Can free tier members attend event?

Yes, absolutely! But the cost will be higher. Our events are published to this web site, Facebook, Eventbrite, and our social media channels. Tickets may be purchased through Eventbrite or at the door. Members of our Chamber (free), Orchestra, and Philharmonic levels receive discounts for our events.

What if I’m not local to your events?

We record almost all of our events (except those for which we cannot secure clearance), and do our best to post them to the site no more than two weeks after the event takes place. Free members get access to limited highlights, while Orchestra and Philharmonic members get access to the complete event.

Are there opportunities to network?

Our events are regularly attended by everyone from top-level professionals to students. Many of our events also include breakfast and/or lunch, so there are ample opportunities to get to know your colleagues in the industry and form friendships and collaborations.

Are all events in Los Angeles, California?

Our main hub is Los Angeles, the center of the film and television world. There are affiliated groups who have run Ravel studies similar to ours in many other cities, including San Diego, Chicago, Seattle, Toronto, New York, London, Milan, Tokyo, and more. Our web site serves to publish our work around the globe, while our leadership and volunteer team continues to explore possibilities for hosting future events in other locations.

Can I give a membership as a gift?

Yes you can. Sign up for the membership you’d like to give, then send us an email so we can manually transfer the registration to your gift’s recipient.

Can I upgrade my membership?

Of course. Your membership is in your hands. Just go to the subscriptions tab on your account page.
